Set a starting number, prefix, optional suffix and minimum digit count. Six digits turns 1 into 000001; longer numbers are never truncated.

A few useful answers.
How is a Bates range calculated?
The last number equals the starting number plus the page count minus one. A 12-page document starting at DOC-000001 ends at DOC-000012. The next document begins at DOC-000013.
Does this calculator stamp my documents?
No. This free tool plans the ranges and exports a CSV. To put Bates numbers on PDFs and images, open BatesFast and sign in for one free preview run.
What happens when a number has more digits than my setting?
Digit padding is a minimum width. A six-digit setting formats 1 as 000001, while 1000000 remains 1000000. The calculator never cuts digits off a number.
Can I get page counts from my PDFs?

Are my document names or ranges saved?
